Connect Your Social Accounts
Add links to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X — they appear in your footer and on /about.

Connecting your social accounts adds clickable icons to your site footer and your /about page. It doesn’t schedule posts or do anything magic — it just makes it easy for customers to follow you, which compounds organic discovery.
Where to set
Raffle admin → Marketing → Social accounts. Five URL fields: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X. Paste the full URL for each one you use; leave the others blank (they hide).
Which channels actually matter for raffles
- Instagram. Live draws via Instagram Live drive the highest engagement of any raffle channel. Reels of prize reveals get reach.
- TikTok. 18–35 audience, fast-growing for UK raffle operators. Spark Ads on existing organic creator content out-perform cold native.
- Facebook. Older 35+ audience. Still strong for UK raffle. Meta Ads (Facebook + Instagram) is where most paid spend lands.
- YouTube. Long-form draw videos build trust. Underused by most operators.
- X / Twitter.Niche but useful for community- building if you have engagement there already. Skip if you don’t.
What URLs to use
- Facebook: your page, not your personal profile
- Instagram: the public handle URL
- TikTok: the public handle URL (with the @)
- YouTube: your channel URL, not a video URL
- X: your handle URL (use
x.comnottwitter.com)
Update the URLs when you switch handles
Footer links to a dead Instagram handle break customer trust faster than the broken link itself. Add this to your monthly hygiene checklist.
